Awards and Accomplishments

BlackTree Media's web media work has been recognized by the best in the industry. In 2004, BlackTree Media was chosen as recipient of the prestigious Golden Web Award for outstanding web design practices.

Our first major video production released straight to DVD, "Weapons of Mass Production: Volume 1" is a product of our video production services. We pride ourselves in the fact that we were the first company to make a major release of spoken word on DVD. The recent work of Russell Simmons and his HBO DefPoetry Jam highlights the potential of this market. Several of the Poets that appear on our DVD have been featured on DefPoetry Jam.

BlackTree TV is now a major and popular media outlet. BlackTree Media now covers events that do not get press in mainstream media. We often promote what movers and shakers are doing in the entertainment and business realm by posting exclusive interviews and behind-the-scene comments from politicians such as Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney and celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Russell Simmons, and Kanye West. BlackTree TV is also broadcast via podcasts and cell phone broadcasts.
